MR4RP (Jerry and Mary): It’s funny how certain things remind you of favorite people who aren’t with you anymore. We both remarked several times throughout this movie “Gosh, wish Ruth was here to enjoy this with us.” While the reviewers are split on this one, we say it’s a lovely movie with an obvious (but valuable nonetheless) moral. The three stars (Black, Wilson, Martin) would lead you to believe this is a rollicking comedy — it’s not, but its humor and the beautiful scenery carried the day with us. Our rating falls somewhere north of “See It When You’ve Seen Everything Else” — it’s not an epic, it’s not a rental-only, and it’s worth the senior rate.
