This film, a June 2020 release by Amazon Studios, earns a solid Good for an Afternoon rating. Despite holes in the story and leaps of faith about “why is that” between some scenes, Chloe Coleman (as Sophie) totally befuddles JJ (David Bautista) at every turn in a very humorous manner. Also, she is instrumental and quite believable in steps she takes to nurture a love-relationship between JJ and her mother, Kate, played by Parisa Fitz-Henley. Chloe is the movie’s runaway star and saving grace for why it’s worth the time to watch it.
