This 2020 Netflix flick is definitely at best Good for an Afternoon unless you’re a huge David Spade fan and can accept the shenanigans associated with the premise with a wink and a nod. In a nutshell, the wrong “perfect girl” is invited for a critical weekend, much to “our hero’s” dismay. This wrong turn is really the only plotline, and Lauren Lapkus (as Missy) does an admirable job being obnoxious. While we hoped for more laughs, we found more cringes instead. And the ending requires that you suspend common sense. But — in these trying times — it may lighten your daytime viewing.
