MR4RP (Jerry and Mary):  This gets Top of Genre from us — the genre being “heartwarming animal movies”.   Super movie for kids and grandkids — and the adults can’t help but smile as well.   The blend of live and computer animated penguin movement is seamless and beautiful; Mr. Popper could have been over the top, but is human and humorous instead.   While the “divorced mom and dad see the error of their decision” story line is surely a fairy tale, the whole package gets you past that and onto the fun of kids, penguins and a totally unbelievable redecorating scheme!
